Easy SVG Pro
Easy SVG Pro is the agency add-on for Easy SVG Support: unlimited icon sets, imports, icon packs, page builder pickers, the SVG cleaner and client mode.
Easy SVG Pro turns the free icon library into an icon system for agencies and larger sites. This page shows what it adds, explains the words you will meet, and helps you decide which features to switch on first.
How Pro relates to the free plugin
Easy SVG Pro is an add-on. It does nothing on its own: it needs Easy SVG Support installed and active, and adds its screens to the same Icons menu.
| Easy SVG Support (free) | Easy SVG Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Safe SVG uploads | Yes | Yes, same sanitizer |
| Icon collections | One library | Unlimited icon sets |
| Add icons | One file at a time, media library, pasted code | Plus whole ZIPs, icon fonts, Font Awesome, preset sets |
| Move icons between sites | No | Icon packs (one ZIP) |
| Page builders and fields | Shortcode | Native pickers in Elementor, WPBakery, ACF, Lazy Blocks, Meta Box, Twig |
| Old or unsafe SVGs | Only new uploads are cleaned | SVG cleaner scans and cleans the whole media library |
| Undo, bulk changes, styles | No | Icon history, bulk editing, style templates |
| Hand a site to a client | No | Client mode |
Words you will meet
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Collection | Any named group of icons, whatever made it. The free library is one collection, every set and every folder is another. |
| Icon set (or set) | A collection you create and edit inside WordPress. Typical: one set per client or brand. |
| Address | How a template or block points at an icon: collection/name, for example acme/front-door. It never changes when you swap the drawing. |
| Icon pack (or pack) | A collection as one ZIP file: a manifest.json plus the SVG files. Use it to move icons between sites. |
| Manifest | The manifest.json file in a pack. It lists the collection's name and its icons with their labels. |
| Icon folder | A folder of SVG files in your theme or in wp-content/easy-svg-icons that Pro reads as a read-only collection. |
What you get, by area
The Icons menu is sorted into five areas. Pro adds screens to each:
| Area | Screens | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Icons | Icon sets, Packs, History, Swap icons | Make sets, import and export packs, go back to earlier drawings, let a client swap icons |
| Design | Styles, Bulk | Style templates and theme colors, rename or move many icons, replace one icon everywhere |
| Inspect | SVG cleaner | Find and clean unsafe SVGs, repair broken ones |
| Security | Configurator | Allow extra SVG elements that some icon libraries need |
| Setup | Features, License | Switch features on, activate your license |
Some features have no screen of their own but show up elsewhere: Quick insert in the block editor, the page builder pickers in their builders, and WP-CLI on the command line.
Where should I start?
A typical agency setup takes three switches:
- Icon set editor to create one icon set per client.
- Multiple collections so those sets appear in the WordPress Icon block.
- The integration for the builder your client uses, for example Elementor icon picker.
Then add more as you need them. The features guide explains every switch.
